At our program, we understand that every young girl, aged 10 to 25, has unique strengths, challenges, and aspirations. That's why we offer private mentoring that includes personalized care plans tailored specifically to meet each participant's individual needs. Our dedicated mentors work closely with each girl to create a customized behavior plan that not only addresses their personal goals but also nurtures their growth and well-being. 2014 - 2020
2014 Divas Build Futures Inc, Founded in Victorville California
2014:October 2014 DBF First Nonprofit Festival- 30 girls signed up
November 2014 launches DBF 8-week mentorship program
2015: October 2015 DBF Hoops for Breast Cancer - Supporting girls and women with breast cancer by providing hygiene bags, wigs, emotional support and health vendors. Served 50 women
2016: July 2016 DBF Charm and Etiquette program- 25 participants ages 10-16
2017 DBF established a partnership with North Texas Jobcorps, which successfully mentored over 300 girls and young women aged 16 to 26. This initiative included various female empowerment events, mentorship workshops, poise and posture etiquette classes, and personal life coaching. Additionally, the program provided support for post-completion options to help participants transition into their next steps.
2018 DBF launched the DBF All Girls Youth Center in Plano, Texas. This center serves as a resource hub for girls and women in the community, offering essential services such as homelessness resources, life skills classes, and private counseling sessions. Moreover, the center features a boutique stocked with clothing, makeup, underwear, and hygiene products, catering to the needs of local young women.
2019 DBF Host its 1st Benefits Gala, Raising over $5,000 to support girls needing assistance with school.
2020 DBF Host zoom mentorship classes in response to the pandemic.
2020 DBF community Turkey Drive partnering with Legacy Charter preparatory Plano- We assisted 180 families with turkeys and food bags for the holiday.
2021-2025
2021 DBF Launched Adopt a Diva, a program that mentors girls through grief from losing a guardian.
2021 DBF worked with the city of Plano to feed up to 200 families.
2022 Her Homes Housing and Resources was founded to help house girls and women in at risk situations and homelessness.
2022-2023 Her Homes assisted 70 girls & women with placing them in protective homes. We provided them with hygeine products and a makeover to build confidence and self-esteem.
2024 Her Homes moved to Anna Texas to accommodate the needs of single mothers, women struggling to find stability.
2025 Her Homes Housing & Resources lauched its "A Home For Her" Housing Campaign!
